Day Trip to Multnomah Falls

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Portland to start this unforgettable day trip to Multnomah Falls. Ready to explore one of the most amazing natural gems in Oregon?

After approximately 30 minutes of traveling, we'll reach our destination. First, we'll admire the Horsetail Falls, nestled in the throat of the Columbia River, which stands over 164 feet (50 meters) tall.

Then, we'll reach one of the most popular sites in Oregon: the Multnomah Falls. Rising at a total of 620 feet (189 meters), this is the tallest waterfall in the state and one of its greatest natural treasures, which attracts almost 2 million visitors yearly. We'll head to the Benson Bridge to take in the incomparable views.

We'll continue our tour toward Wahkeena Falls, named after the Yakama word for "most beautiful." You'll love feeling the mist of the waterfall as you take unforgettable pictures.

Continuing our tour, we'll head to a lovely viewpoint to marvel at the majestic Bridal Veil Falls, Shepperd's Dell Falls, and Latourell Falls. You'll be captivated by the unique and special beauty of these waterfalls! Plus, during the tour, we'll tell you about the different plant species we'll find.

To wrap up this day trip on a high note, we'll go to the Crown Point lookout, the best spot to admire the Columbia River Gorge, where you'll see a mix of colors on the water and mountains and Portland shining in the distance.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll arrive after a total of 3.5 hours.
